Shades of Silver

For lack of a better title...

Recently I've tackled the anime/manga world once more to rejuvenate my love for it since college practically killed it.  I haven't drawn in the style in so long and to be honest, I'm glad all the hours I spent in model drawing classes that I don't draw with the old CLAMP style I used to *cringes*  Now I've been drawing people more and I've got this weird cross of Disney, anime and real life influence.  Is my style for people finally emerging?  Who knows.

Anyway, one of the animes I decided to dive into is Kamisama Kiss and it is ADORABLE!  I love Tomoe!  I love Nanami!  I love the manga thus far!  Super cute!  

I'm a real sucker for stories with fox demons in them so if you have any recommendations that would great!  I already know about Inu X Boku SS and Laon, I'll eventually get to them, but the one that started that love for fox demons is none other than Youko Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho.  

In the background you see Tomoe and Kurama with the shadows of their former selves behind them, the girls in front are Nanami and Maya (my own interpretation).  If you don't know who Maya is she's the girl from the seventh manga volume of YYH, she had a crush on Kurama and she has a sixth sense, so with the idea of her being older and re-encountering Kurama again gives me ideas...I let her keep her short hair so she appears to have  "masculine" traits while Kurama grew more "feminine" with age, but they still retain their own femininity/masculinity (that's how I see it anyway).
